About the role

Summit Digital is building a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and optimize the core services that ingest, transform, and expose operational data.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable ETL pipelines using Python and Django
• Design RESTful APIs for data access and analytics dashboards
• Integrate with PostgreSQL and ensure data integrity and performance
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to refine data models
• Implement monitoring, logging, and automated testing for reliability

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Proficiency with Django framework
• Hands‑on experience building REST APIs
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL optimization

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with containerization (Docker)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
