Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Python, with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend systems with frontend applications
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the company's codebase
• Develop technical specifications and implement solutions that meet the company's high standards
• Work closely with the engineering team to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Ensure that software applications meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and technical guides
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve issues with software applications
• Contribute to the development of new features and functionality, with a focus on innovation and creativity
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of software applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve the company's software applications
• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for software applications
• Ensure that software applications are secure, with a focus on data protection and access control

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in Python development, with a focus on backend systems
• Proficiency in Python 3.x, with experience in developing high-quality software applications
• Experience with databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, principles, and methodologies
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality, reliability, and performance
• Experience with version control systems, including Git and SVN
• Knowledge of security best practices, including data protection and access control
• Certification in Python development, such as Python Institute Certified Associate or Certified Professional
