As a Product Listing Assistant, you will be working closely with our senior leadership team, providing critical support to our ecommerce operations, and helping to drive business outcomes through data-driven decision making. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research to gather accurate product information, specifications, and images from various sources, including manufacturer websites, product catalogs, and supplier databases.
  • Collaborate with our in-house design team to create high-quality product images, including product demos, 360-degree views, and lifestyle shots, using Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
  • Develop compelling product descriptions, sales copy, and meta tags to optimize product listings for search engines, using keyword research tools and SEO best practices.
  • Enter product information, images, and sales copy into our ecommerce platform, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards and brand guidelines.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor product performance, identify trends, and provide insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales forecasting.
  • Work closely with our customer service team to resolve customer inquiries, address product-related issues, and provide timely, personalized support to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of product catalogs, lookbooks, and marketing materials, using design software and project management tools to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in product brainstorming sessions, providing input on product features, benefits, and unique selling points, and helping to identify new product opportunities and market trends.
  • Maintain organized records of product information, including product specs, images, and sales copy, using cloud-based storage solutions and project management software.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in ecommerce, attending webinars, workshops, and conferences to stay current and network with industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with our social media team to create engaging product content, including product demos, tutorials, and customer testimonials, using social media management tools and content calendar software.
  • Provide support for product launches, promotions, and special events, working closely with our marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and drive sales, using email marketing software and CRM systems.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency, using lean methodologies and agile project management principles.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including design, marketing, sales, and customer service teams, using collaboration tools and project management software to facilitate communication and coordination.
  • Stay flexible and adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and project requirements, using agile methodologies and iterative development principles to respond to changing business needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in ecommerce, data entry, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in managing and maintaining large datasets.
  • Proficiency in data entry software, including Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and ecommerce platform tools, with experience in data analysis, data visualization, and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling product descriptions and communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a positive, customer-focused attitude, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research, and search engine marketing, with experience in optimizing product listings for search engines and driving organic traffic.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, with a strong understanding of design principles, visual aesthetics, and brand identity.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce, with experience in managing and maintaining online stores, and optimizing product listings for conversion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and project requirements, with a flexible, agile approach to project management and workflow optimization.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred, with a strong understanding of ecommerce principles, marketing strategies, and customer behavior.
  • Certification in data entry, ecommerce, or a related field a plus, with experience in using industry-standard software, tools, and technologies to manage and maintain large datasets.
