Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain large-scale MongoDB databases to support business growth and customer demands
• Develop and optimize database schema, indexes, and queries to ensure high performance and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of database solutions
• Conduct database backups, restores, and disaster recovery to ensure data integrity and availability
• Monitor and analyze database performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including diagrams, guides, and knowledge base articles
• Provide technical support and training to junior team members and stakeholders
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure continuous integration and deployment of database changes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest MongoDB features, best practices, and industry trends
• Develop and implement database security measures to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality
• Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment scripts for database changes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in MongoDB administration, including database design, implementation, and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB features, including data modeling, indexing, and query optimization
• Experience with MongoDB tools, including MongoDB Compass, MongoDB Atlas, and MongoDB Cloud Manager
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, including Git
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
• Experience with database security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption
• Knowledge of cloud-based platforms, including AWS or Azure
