Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement customized Shopify stores for clients, including theme development, app integration, and backend configuration.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend elements.
• Work with project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement customized Shopify themes, including liquid templating and CSS development.
• Integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance store functionality and performance.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of stores to ensure high-quality and functional solutions.
• Provide technical support and maintenance services to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify developments, trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our services and solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals for potential clients.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of store development, including theme and app configurations.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes and standards.
• Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts to improve development efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in ecommerce development, specifically with Shopify.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify theme development, including liquid templating and CSS development.
• Experience with Shopify app development, including API integration and backend configuration.
• Strong understanding of frontend development principles, including HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Experience with React, NodeJS, and other relevant technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, project managers, and clients.
• Experience with version control systems, including Git.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
