Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Shopify themes and extensions
• Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with existing Shopify sites
• Develop and implement new features and functionality for ecommerce sites
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify trends and best practices
• Maintain and update existing Shopify sites to ensure they remain secure and efficient
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers
• Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to the improvement of our development process
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Shopify projects
• Collaborate with quality assurance specialists to identify and resolve technical issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ecommerce trends and technologies
• Contribute to the development of our internal tools and frameworks

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Shopify development
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
• Experience with React and NodeJS is a plus
• Strong understanding of ecommerce principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Strong understanding of web security and performance optimization
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
