About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a micro‑services platform that relies on container orchestration for scalability. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, deploy, and optimize our production clusters, ensuring high availability and rapid rollout of new features.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Docker container images for core services
• Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters on cloud providers
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and enforce security best practices
• Document deployment processes and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Docker containerization
• Proficiency in Kubernetes cluster design and administration
• Solid understanding of DevOps workflows and tooling

Nice to have

• Experience with Helm charts and Terraform
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies
