Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain containerized applications and microservices architecture using Docker and Kubernetes
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or other similar tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Participate in the development of technical specifications and architectures for cloud-based software solutions
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based applications and services
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues with cloud-based applications and services
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud-based applications and services
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of DevOps and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud-based software solutions
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts
• Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based applications and services
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement security and compliance frameworks for cloud-based applications and services
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of cloud-based software solutions
• Participate in the development of technical training programs for internal staff and external partners
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for cloud-based software solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps engineering role, with a strong focus on Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of containerization using Docker, including Docker Hub, Docker Compose, and Docker Swarm
• Experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management, node management, and pod management
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and other similar tools
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages, including Python, Bash, and PowerShell
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with technical documentation, including wiki documentation and technical guides
