Key Responsibilities

• Edit and enhance photographs using Adobe Photoshop and other photo editing software
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences for photo editing projects
• Retouch and manipulate images to achieve desired effects, including skin smoothing, blemish removal, and object removal
• Apply color correction and grading techniques to enhance the mood and atmosphere of photographs
• Work with our design team to create composite images and graphics for clients' projects
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality edited photographs to clients in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with the latest photo editing trends, techniques, and software
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members and assist with training and mentoring
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure successful project outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and solutions
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of work
• Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, and be flexible in response to new challenges
• Ensure all edited photographs meet our company's high standards of quality and aesthetics

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in photo editing, preferably in a commercial or studio setting
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other photo editing software
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual aesthetics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and organization
• Familiarity with graphic design principles and the ability to create graphics and composites
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
• Knowledge of image optimization techniques for web and print
• Ability to adapt to new software and technologies, and to learn quickly in a rapidly changing environment
• Certification in photo editing or a related field is an asset
