Key Responsibilities

• Edit and enhance images for use across various media platforms, including web, social media, and print.
• Utilize Adobe Photoshop and other image editing software to achieve high-quality visual outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with designers, art directors, and writers to ensure that edited images align with the project's creative vision.
• Apply color correction, retouching, and compositing techniques to images as required.
• Ensure all edited images meet the company's quality standards and branding guidelines.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in image editing, proposing new ideas and approaches for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development of style guides and best practices for image editing within the company.
• Work effectively in a team environment, providing feedback and support to colleagues when needed.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative meetings to develop innovative visual concepts.
• Maintain organized files and archives of edited images, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
• Collaborate with external partners and freelancers on specific projects, as necessary.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring that deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members in image editing techniques and software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in image editing, preferably in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and experience with other Creative Cloud applications.
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Portfolio that showcases a high level of proficiency in image editing and a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with design principles and the ability to apply them in editing images.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Certification in graphic design or a related field is an asset.
