Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed, high-poly 3D models from scratch, based on design specifications, blueprints, and reference images, ensuring accuracy, precision, and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of 3D models into overarching project designs and environments.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows and techniques for 3D modeling, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve quality and efficiency.
• Utilize a variety of software tools, including but not limited to Blender, Maya, and 3ds Max, to design, sculpt, and refine 3D models, selecting the appropriate tool for each project based on specific requirements and desired outcomes.
• Work closely with clients to understand project objectives, interpret design concepts, and deliver models that meet or exceed client expectations, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct quality checks on all models before submission, ensuring that they meet Vibrance Studios' quality standards for detail, texture, and overall aesthetics.
• Maintain a meticulous level of detail and organization in all aspects of work, including project files, versions, and communication with team members and clients.
• Contribute to the development of internal training and guides, sharing expertise with other team members to enhance overall team capabilities and knowledge base.
• Participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to continuously improve project outcomes and team performance.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance, and leveraging project management tools to optimize productivity and meet deadlines.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements, software updates, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to innovate our 3D modeling practices and maintain a competitive edge.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our clients' needs and preferences, tailoring our services to meet these needs and foster long-term relationships.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, proposing and implementing changes that enhance our workflow, productivity, and overall client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing extensive experience in 3D modeling, preferably in a professional setting, demonstrating proficiency in creating high-quality models for various applications.
• Proficiency in one or more 3D modeling software packages (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max), with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as needed.
• Excellent understanding of 3D modeling principles, including but not limited to UV mapping, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Computer Science) or equivalent experience, with a focus on 3D modeling and animation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate complex ideas, and manage client relationships.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Jira) and version control systems (e.g., Git), with a meticulous approach to organization and time management.
• Capable of receiving and acting on feedback, continuously improving skills and adapting to project requirements and changes.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and human-centered design methodologies, with a deep understanding of user needs and preferences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design challenges and develop creative, effective solutions.
