Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and enhance photos using Adobe Photoshop and other graphic design software to achieve the desired look and feel.
  • Work closely with the design team to understand project requirements and ensure that edited photos meet the project's creative and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with art directors and clients to discuss project goals, provide guidance on the editing process, and ensure that deliverables meet their expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our clients' brands, including their visual identities and messaging.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in photo editing and graphic design.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all edited photos to ensure they meet our studio's high standards.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members to support their growth and development.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to the development of new projects and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including project notes, timelines, and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless integration of edited photos into final project deliverables.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and the overall quality of our studio's output.
  • Adapt to new software, technologies, and workflows as required by the evolving needs of the studio and its clients.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, specifically in editing and enhancing photos for various contexts and mediums.
  • Experience in graphic design, with a portfolio that showcases your editing skills and creativity.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, art directors, and clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills, with a keen eye for spotting and correcting errors.
  • Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications, such as Illustrator and InDesign, is an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of photography principles and practices, including lighting, exposure, and composition.
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box to solve complex editing challenges.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions.
