We are a creative digital agency looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to convert a set of high-fidelity Figma designs into a lightweight, custom WordPress theme. This project is for a high-profile corporate client who demands high performance and security. Therefore, we are strictly not looking for someone to install Elementor, Divi, or modify a pre-bought Themeforest template. We need a developer who understands the WordPress template hierarchy inside out and can write clean, semantic PHP code.
You will be responsible for building a theme from the ground up, using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) Pro to create flexible content blocks. This allows our client to easily manage their text and images without breaking the frontend design. You must ensure the site is fully responsive across all devices and scores at least 90/100 on Google PageSpeed Insights.
Knowledge of modern frontend workflows (SCSS, Gulp, or Webpack) is highly preferred. You will be working with our design lead to ensure every margin and font weight matches the mockup. If you are a developer who takes pride in writing code that is as beautiful as the design it powers, we want to work with you.
Key Responsibilities
Convert Figma mockups into a fully functional, pixel-perfect custom WordPress theme.
Register Custom Post Types (CPTs) and Taxonomies for specific sections like "Case Studies" and "Team."
Implement flexible content modules using ACF Pro (Flexible Content Field).
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and fluid mobile responsiveness.
Optimize images, scripts, and styles for maximum loading speed (Core Web Vitals).
Secure the installation against common vulnerabilities (XML-RPC, SQL injection).
