About the role

BrightMart Solutions is preparing a high‑impact app store launch that demands tight mobile and backend coordination. We need a Microservices Architect to design the service mesh that powers the upcoming mobile experience, ensuring scalability and low latency.

Key responsibilities

• Define microservice boundaries aligned with mobile feature teams
• Design API contracts and versioning strategy for rapid app store releases
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes
• Set up service discovery, load balancing, and fault‑tolerance patterns
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to optimize data payloads and sync mechanisms

Must-have skills

• Deep experience architecting Java‑based microservices
• Proficiency with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, and API gateway design
• Ability to translate mobile performance requirements into backend solutions

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
• Knowledge of automated testing for distributed systems
