About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is seeking a senior Identity Access Management Specialist to design and implement robust IAM solutions for a critical internal application rollout. The project focuses on centralizing authentication, fine‑grained authorization, and automated provisioning across cloud and on‑premise resources.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce IAM policies, roles, and groups aligned with least‑privilege principles.
• Integrate SSO, MFA, and federation services using SAML, OIDC, and LDAP.
• Automate user lifecycle management through scripting and API orchestration.
• Conduct security assessments of existing access controls and remediate gaps.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to embed IAM controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document architecture, processes, and compliance evidence for audit purposes.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, IAM solutions).
• Strong knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Hands‑on experience securing cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Understanding of Linux system security and access controls.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture.
• Certification such as CISSP or AWS Security Specialty.
