About the role

BlueSky Ventures is revamping a legacy production platform that must stay live throughout the upgrade. We need a Frontend React Developer to deliver a seamless UI migration while preserving zero‑downtime operations.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor and modernize existing React codebase to TypeScript
• Implement feature‑flags and canary releases for safe rollouts
• Build responsive UI components that integrate with legacy APIs
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design zero‑downtime data flows
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure regression‑free releases

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience modernizing legacy frontends with zero‑downtime strategies
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and feature‑flag systems

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Webpack, Vite, or similar bundlers
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for large‑scale apps
