Senior Docker Kubernetes Specialist – Release Engineering Delivery

About the role

LumenWorks is kicking off a greenfield SaaS product and needs a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design the core platform. You will shape the container strategy from scratch, ensuring the stack scales with a remote‑first team.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy Kubernetes clusters on cloud providers for the new service.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Helm, and GitOps practices.
• Implement service‑mesh observability, logging, and automated scaling policies.
• Collaborate with developers to containerize micro‑services and define runtime standards.
• Establish security hardening, RBAC, and secret management for production workloads.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proven track record designing CI/CD workflows for SaaS launches.
• Strong DevOps mindset with automation and infrastructure‑as‑code expertise.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• Experience in monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana.
• Background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
