About the role

NexGen Media is revamping its customer‑facing services to boost performance and reliability. We need a React Native Developer to refactor key modules, improve load times, and ensure seamless cross‑platform behavior.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing React Native codebase for performance bottlenecks
• Implement lazy loading, memoization, and native module optimizations
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability
• Collaborate with UI/UX and backend teams to align on API contracts
• Document refactor decisions and performance metrics

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React Native and JavaScript
• Deep understanding of Android and iOS platform nuances
• Proven track record of performance tuning in mobile apps
• Familiarity with CI pipelines for mobile builds

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript in React Native projects
• Knowledge of native module development (Java/Kotlin, Swift/Obj‑C)
• Exposure to analytics and monitoring tools for mobile
