About the role

CloudWave Digital is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted applications. We need a detail‑oriented QA Software Tester to design and execute test plans that verify security controls, data protection, and compliance across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive manual and automated test cases focused on security, authentication, and authorization flows.
• Execute regression suites after each hardening sprint and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers to integrate security tests into CI pipelines.
• Validate threat‑model scenarios and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to knowledge‑base updates.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in QA testing for cloud applications.
• Proficiency with Selenium for automated security test scripts.
• Solid understanding of security testing methodologies and OWASP guidelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with API security testing tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration for test automation.
