About the role

Cascade Apps is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a detail‑oriented QA Software Tester to design and execute tests that validate speed, stability, and scalability under real‑world loads.

Key responsibilities

• Develop performance test plans targeting API response times and throughput.
• Implement automated regression suites using Selenium to catch reliability regressions.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate, and document defects.
• Analyze test results, produce actionable metrics, and recommend optimizations.
• Maintain test environments and ensure data integrity for repeatable runs.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in functional and performance testing.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of QA best practices and defect lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with load testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash).
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests.
