About the role

CoreData Systems is modernizing its data platform by adopting a microservices‑first strategy. We need an experienced Microservices Architect to design, implement, and oversee a suite of scalable services that will power critical business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall microservices architecture, including service boundaries, communication patterns, and data management strategies.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Java, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes clusters.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to accelerate delivery.
• Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on best practices.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in microservices design and implementation.
• Proficient in Java and REST API development.
• Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of scalability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
• Ability to create clear architectural documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
