About the role

Keystone Digital is driving a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted IoT platform. As the IoT Solutions Architect you will lead the design and implementation of hardened infrastructure for the new "Nimbus Edge" module, ensuring resilient, compliant connectivity for millions of devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end security architecture for the Nimbus Edge micro‑service suite running on AWS and Azure.
• Implement TLS‑mutual authentication and device provisioning pipelines using AWS IoT Core and Azure DPS.
• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability scanning, and remediation planning for containerized workloads in EKS and AKS.
• Automate security policy enforcement with Terraform, Ansible, and Open Policy Agent.
• Lead quarterly penetration testing cycles and produce hardening reports for senior leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers on secure coding practices and IoT firmware signing.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP) and cloud security frameworks.
• Proficiency with Linux system administration, container orchestration, and PKI management.
• Hands‑on experience with Python and JavaScript for device‑side and cloud‑side integration.
• Strong knowledge of REST API security (OAuth2, JWT) and network segmentation.
• Track record delivering security hardening for large‑scale cloud applications.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP or AWS Security Specialty.
• Familiarity with edge AI workloads and OTA update mechanisms.
