About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a data pipeline and analytics enablement project for operations teams. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls, monitor threats, and ensure compliance throughout the pipeline lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security monitoring for data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments specific to analytics workloads.
• Develop automated remediation scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with data engineers to enforce least‑privilege access and encryption at rest and in transit.
• Produce concise security reports for operations stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience securing data pipelines and cloud‑native analytics environments.
• Strong knowledge of network security, IAM, and encryption standards.
• Hands‑on scripting in Python for detection and response automation.
• Linux system hardening and log analysis expertise.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk or Elastic.
• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or AWS Security Specialty.
