Senior Full Stack Developer for E-commerce Platform

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team in developing a cutting-edge e-commerce platform. You will be working closely with our cross-functional team of developers, designers, and product managers to identify and prioritize project requirements, design and implement solutions, and test and deploy software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of our e-commerce platform, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience
• Design and implement scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems, using a range of technologies, including JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and server-side programming languages
• Work closely with cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and product managers to identify and prioritize project requirements, design and implement solutions, and test and deploy software releases
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring that all code meets the highest standards of quality and maintainability
• Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects, and ensure that all software releases meet the required standards of quality and reliability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in software development, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our software systems and processes
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, and contribute to the growth and development of our engineering team
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Contribute to the development of our technical roadmap, and help to identify and prioritize technical initiatives and projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development
• Strong background in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
• Experience with a range of technologies, including databases, caching systems, and messaging queues
• Strong understanding of software development principles, patterns, and practices, including design patterns, testing, and continuous integration
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and product managers
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance, and the ability to design and implement software systems that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, including AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring
