About the role
We are building a high‑performance analytics pipeline for our e‑commerce platform. The MongoDB Specialist will design, implement, and optimize data models, ensuring scalability and fast query performance for real‑time reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Design efficient MongoDB schemas aligned with business needs
- Implement data migration, indexing, and sharding strategies
- Write aggregation pipelines and optimize queries for speed
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate MongoDB with Node.js services
- Monitor performance, conduct capacity planning, and troubleshoot issues
Must-have skills
- 3+ years of hands‑on MongoDB experience
- Strong understanding of data modeling, indexing, and aggregation
- Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js ecosystem
- Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker or containerized deployments
- Knowledge of cloud database services (e.g., Atlas, AWS DocumentDB)
