Hey! I run a growing personal finance YouTube channel (currently 45k subs) and blog focused on money tips for millennials — budgeting, side hustles, investing basics, debt payoff stories, etc. I script my own videos but need help turning those scripts into SEO-optimized blog posts, YouTube descriptions, newsletters, and short social captions.

Responsibilities

Turn video scripts into 1,200–2,000 word blog posts (I provide outline + key points)

Write SEO titles, meta descriptions, and headings

Write detailed YouTube descriptions with timestamps + links

Create 2 weekly newsletters from new content (ConvertKit)

Write thread-style captions for Twitter/X and LinkedIn

Add affiliate links and disclosures where needed

Light fact-checking (sources provided)

Suggest blog post ideas based on trending topics

Repurpose old videos into new listicles or “updated for 2025” posts

Required Skills

Native or near-native English writing (conversational tone)

Basic SEO knowledge (keywords, headings, readability)

Reliable and meets deadlines

Google Docs proficiency

Attention to detail (no major grammar/spelling issues)

Nice to Have

Personal interest in personal finance/investing

Experience with ConvertKit or similar

Located in Philippines, India, Pakistan, LATAM, or Africa (any time zone is fine)

Previous ghostwriting or blogging experience

Basic understanding of YouTube SEO

Familiarity with SurferSEO or Frase (I’ll provide access if needed)

You don’t need to be a finance expert — I provide all the research. I care way more about clarity and readability than fancy writing. Mistakes happen; we fix and move on.
