We're seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, build, and automate highly available infrastructure for a large-scale SaaS platform. This role involves establishing CI/CD pipelines, implementing infrastructure as code (IaC), container orchestration, and ensuring robust security and monitoring across multi-cloud environments.
Project Overview:
Develop and automate all infrastructure components for a modern SaaS platform serving enterprise clients. Key goals include seamless code deployment, high availability, self-healing systems, and cost-effective resource management. You will own pipeline automation, IaC implementation, logging & monitoring setup, and ensure compliance with best practices for cloud security and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect, deploy, and automate infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for zero-downtime automated deployments (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent)
Containerize application stacks (Docker) and manage workloads with Kubernetes or ECS
Automate scaling, failover, and service discovery across cloud environments
Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and security
Design and implement comprehensive logging, alerting, and monitoring (ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus)
Harden security (IAM, secrets management, network policies, vulnerability scans)
Perform backup, disaster recovery planning, and regular DR drills
Collaborate with development teams for “infrastructure as code” best practices
Conduct regular infrastructure reviews and performance benchmarking
Coach teams on DevOps culture, tool usage, and automation best practices
Required Skills:
4+ years of DevOps/infrastructure experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
IaC expertise (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Container orchestration with Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or ECS
Deep knowledge of Linux systems administration
Experience with cloud networking, VPC, load balancers, VPN, DNS
Monitoring/logging frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
Security best practices (IAM, policy design, encryption, audits)
Scripting (Bash, Python, Go)
