Hey! I run a 6-figure print-on-demand + digital products store selling planners, wall art, and apparel on Shopify and Etsy. Sales are steady and growing, but I’m tired of doing the books myself every month.
I need a reliable bookkeeper who can reconcile accounts, categorize transactions, track COGS/profit, and help me actually understand my numbers (without the boring accountant speak). Everything is simple — no payroll, no inventory headaches, just clean e-commerce transactions.
Perfect if you’re organized, love spreadsheets, and want recurring monthly work with a chill client who pays on time.
Responsibilities
Reconcile bank feeds and PayPal/Stripe in Xero or QuickBooks
Categorize 300–600 transactions per month
Track cost of goods sold (Printful, Printify, digital delivery)
Calculate monthly profit & loss (simple one-page report)
Reconcile Etsy and Shopify payouts
Flag any weird charges or tax issues
Track sales tax collected (I use TaxJar)
Prepare basic reports for my US tax guy (Excel or Google Sheets)
Light expense tracking (ads, software subscriptions)
Required Skills
Experience with Xero OR QuickBooks Online (I’ll choose based on you)
Understands basic e-commerce transactions
Excellent attention to detail
Google Sheets or Excel proficiency
Honest and trustworthy with financial data
Nice to Have
Previous e-commerce or Etsy/Shopify bookkeeping
Located in Philippines, India, Pakistan, LATAM, or Eastern Europe
Familiar with A2X (Shopify → Xero connector)
Knows US sales tax basics
Experience with Printful/Printify integrations
Can prepare simple forecasts
Typical Weekly/Monthly Tasks
8–14 hours per month total (not week!)
End-of-month reconciliation: 6–10 hrs
Mid-month check-in: 2–4 hrs

Working Schedule

Payment Structure
Basic Tier – $300/month (8 hrs/month, ~300 transactions)
Standard Tier – $425/month (11 hrs/month, ~450 transactions + reports)
Premium Tier – $550/month (14 hrs/month, includes forecasting + tax prep help)
Paid on the 1st via Wise or PayPal.

Training Provided
Yes — full handover, 5 example months, video walkthroughs, and I’ll sit on a call to explain everything. First month is guided.
Realistic Expectations
You don’t need to be a CPA. If you’ve done bookkeeping for any online business and can follow instructions, you’ll be fine. Mistakes happen — we fix them together.
