We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer who specializes in designing intuitive, user-friendly, and modern Android mobile app interfaces.
This role focuses on crafting a complete visual experience for our new Android application covering onboarding screens, dashboard, forms, product pages, and micro-interactions.
You’ll be responsible for turning functional requirements into high-fidelity screens, prototypes, workflows, and handoff documents for developers. This project requires someone who understands Material Design 3, Android spacing rules, typography, color theory, and mobile usability patterns.
You’ll collaborate closely with Android developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation, clarity in interactions, and a consistent design system. Your design decisions should always consider user psychology, ease of navigation, clarity, and performance.
This is a 6–8 week project, with potential extension based on additional modules or redesign cycles.
If you’re passionate about designing smooth, predictable, and beautiful Android app experiences — this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities
Design Android app UI screens following Material Design 3 guidelines.
Create user journeys, wireframes, workflows, and prototypes.
Deliver pixel-perfect, developer-ready Figma files.
Create responsive layouts for different screen sizes and resolutions.
Design icons, illustrations, and UI elements where required.
Develop a mini design system — typography, buttons, cards, spacing, shadows.
Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation.
Conduct quick usability testing and gather feedback for improvements.
Prepare motion/interaction prototypes (swipes, transitions, animations).
Create onboarding flows, form layouts, and navigation patterns.
Provide assets, exportables, and developer handoff documentation.
Ensure accessibility compliance (contrast, tap targets, readable sizes).
Prepare 2–3 versions (A/B) of critical screens (e.g., homepage, login).
Update designs based on client or stakeholder feedback.
Maintain all design files, assets, and documentation clearly organized.
Required Skills
2–5 years of Android app UI/UX design experience.
Proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, components, variants, prototypes).
Strong understanding of Material Design, gestures, and mobile UX laws.
Experience designing onboarding, dashboards, lists, forms, and card layouts.
Ability to convert functional requirements into user flows.
Experience creating micro-interactions and motion prototypes.
Basic familiarity with Android development constraints.
Strong grasp of color theory, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
Ability to design for mobile-first and responsive screens.
Experience in usability testing and rapid prototyping.
Knowledge of accessibility standards for mobile apps.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
