About the role
TechFlow Inc is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a REST API Developer to redesign core endpoints, improve latency, and ensure high availability under load. The role focuses on tightening data pipelines, optimizing query patterns, and implementing robust error handling.
Key responsibilities
- Refactor existing REST endpoints for speed and scalability
- Introduce caching strategies and rate‑limiting mechanisms
- Design comprehensive monitoring and alerting for API health
- Collaborate with product and QA teams to validate reliability targets
- Write automated tests and documentation for all new services
Must-have skills
- Deep experience building high‑performance REST APIs
- Strong proficiency in NodeJS and JavaScript
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL query optimization
- Familiarity with performance profiling tools and CI pipelines
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes orchestration
- Background in load testing frameworks
