About the role

Northbay Systems is launching an intensive sprint to automate its release pipeline and accelerate product delivery. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune end‑to‑end automation across our cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable CI/CD workflows using GitOps principles
• Containerize applications and orchestrate deployments with Docker and Kubernetes
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and monitoring into pipelines
• Collaborate with developers to refactor legacy build scripts
• Document processes and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team

Must-have skills

• 5+ years designing CI/CD pipelines in AWS
• Deep expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Strong scripting abilities (Shell, Python or Groovy)
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI

Nice to have

• Familiarity with serverless deployment patterns
• Knowledge of chaos engineering or performance testing tools
