About the role

NexGen Media seeks a QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain robust test suites for a new web‑based content management platform. You will collaborate with developers to ensure high‑quality releases and fast feedback cycles during a short‑term, intensive sprint.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and JavaScript.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot flaky tests and improve testability.
• Maintain test data and environment configurations.
• Generate concise test reports and metrics for stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• 2+ years of automation testing experience.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and JavaScript.
• Experience integrating tests into Jenkins or similar CI tools.
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle and best practices.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable test code.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Exposure to performance testing concepts.
