Node.js Developer Needed for Queue Worker Setup

About the role

We are launching a brand‑new SaaS product and need a Node.js Developer to shape the backend from day one. You will work with a remote‑first team that values rapid iteration, clean code, and scalable architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful services using Node.js and Express
• Define data models and integrate with cloud databases
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
• Collaborate with product and UI teams to translate requirements into technical specs
• Set up CI pipelines and monitor performance in production

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express
• Proficient JavaScript (ES6+)
• Building and consuming REST APIs
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and error handling

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or container orchestration
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of TypeScript
