.NET Core Developer for Microservices Refactor

About the role

CloudWave Digital is expanding its SaaS offering and needs a .NET Core developer to design and implement high‑performance backend services. You will work closely with product owners to translate requirements into clean, scalable code and ensure seamless integration with Azure services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET Core
• Implement authentication, logging, and error handling
• Optimize database queries and improve system performance
• Collaborate with front‑end and QA teams to deliver end‑to‑end features
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with .NET Core and C#
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services (App Service, Functions, Storage)
• Solid understanding of REST API design and micro‑service architecture
• Experience with SQL Server or Azure Cosmos DB
• Good problem‑solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
