Senior Laravel Developer & Backend Architecture Specialist for Scalable Web Platforms

We are seeking an experienced Senior Laravel Developer who can architect, build, and optimize large-scale backend systems using Laravel, PHP 8+, and modern backend engineering practices. This role requires mastery in API development, database optimization, authentication frameworks, caching strategies, and scalable backend architecture for enterprise-grade applications.

You will develop modular backend systems using Laravel’s ecosystem, including Controllers, Services, Repositories, Jobs, Queues, Policies, Middleware, and Events. You must follow clean architecture principles, SOLID design, and maintain a well-organized, testable codebase that scales as the application grows.

Your responsibilities include developing REST APIs, creating database schemas, managing Eloquent ORM relationships, implementing advanced query optimizations, and designing secure authentication systems (JWT, Sanctum, Passport). You must handle role-based access control, permissions, multi-tenancy logic (optional), and secure input validation across all endpoints.

A major part of the job involves performance optimization—profiling slow queries, reducing response times, implementing Redis caching, optimizing Eloquent queries, managing indexing strategies, and reducing load on the database through queue workers, caching layers, and asynchronous task processing.

You will integrate external APIs using Guzzle or HTTP clients, manage payment gateways, implement webhooks, handle file uploads, generate PDFs, manage notifications (email, SMS, push), and build admin panels or dashboards when required. Experience with queue systems such as Redis Queue, Horizon, or SQS is highly preferred.

Security is critical — you must prevent vulnerabilities like SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, insecure deserialization, broken authentication, and direct object references. Knowledge of secure session handling, HTTPS enforcement, password hashing, and secure token flows is mandatory.

You will work closely with frontend engineers (React, Vue, Blade, or mobile developers) to ensure consistent API responses, provide complete API documentation, create versioned endpoints, and maintain strong communication across teams.

The role also requires experience with Linux servers, deployment pipelines, CI/CD, Composer, environment variable management, cron jobs, database migrations, and Git version control. Cloud experience with AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar platforms is a bonus.

Candidates must have real-world experience building full systems, dashboards, or SaaS platforms using Laravel. Strong debugging skills, clean coding habits, deep architectural thinking, and the ability to deliver production-ready features are required.
