Part-Time Thumbnail Designer for YouTube (Personal Development & Business Channels)

Hey! I run two growing YouTube channels in the personal development / online business niche (combined ~180k subs) posting 8–12 videos per month. My current thumbnails are decent, but I know we can 10x the click-through rate with bolder, trendier designs.

I need a thumbnail specialist who lives and breathes YouTube thumbnails — someone who studies MrBeast, Ali Abdaal, Think Media, etc., and can create bold, high-contrast, emotion-driven thumbnails in Photoshop or Canva Pro. This is perfect if you’re obsessed with CTR, want recurring work, and love seeing your thumbnails pull millions of views.

Responsibilities

Design 8–12 new thumbnails per month

2–3 variations per video for A/B testing

Use my face (or stock/models) + big text + arrows/emojis/reactions

Follow proven thumbnail formulas (I’ll give swipe file)

Quick revisions (usually 1–2 rounds)

Create simple end-screen/card graphics when needed

Occasionally update old best-performing thumbnails

Suggest thumbnail ideas based on title/script

Required Skills

Photoshop OR Canva Pro (Photoshop strongly preferred for finer control)

Understands YouTube thumbnail best practices (contrast, emotions, simplicity)

Good eye for color, typography, and composition

Reliable and fast turnaround (24–48 hrs per batch)

Basic English for feedback

Nice to Have

Experience with self-improvement/business channels

Located in Philippines, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, or LATAM

Can do simple photo editing (brightness, remove background, expressions)

Studies CTR data and thumbnail trends

Paid on the 1st via Wise, PayPal, or Payoneer.
