About the role

BrightMart Solutions seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen its security operations center for a critical, short‑term project. You will lead incident response, threat monitoring, and security automation initiatives to protect core services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate incidents in real time.
• Develop and tune SIEM rules and correlation searches.
• Implement automated response playbooks using scripting.
• Collaborate with network and cloud teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Produce concise incident reports for leadership.
• Conduct threat hunting exercises to uncover hidden risks.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with security operations and SOC processes.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration.
• Strong Python scripting for automation.
• Hands‑on knowledge of AWS security services.
• Understanding of incident response frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with threat intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with container security tools.
