Full Stack Web Developer for E-commerce Project

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to build a comprehensive e-commerce platform from the ground up. This is a long-term project requiring expertise in modern web technologies, scalable architecture, and e-commerce best practices.

Project Overview:

Develop a fully functional e-commerce platform with user-friendly interface, secure payment processing, inventory management, and administrative controls. The platform should be responsive, fast, and scalable to handle growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop both frontend and backend components of the e-commerce platform

• Build responsive, intuitive UI/UX for product browsing, search, and checkout

• Implement secure payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal, or similar)

• Develop product catalog system with categories, filters, and search functionality

• Create shopping cart and checkout process with order tracking

• Build user authentication and authorization system

• Develop admin dashboard for inventory, orders, and user management

• Implement database schema and optimize queries for performance

• Ensure security best practices including data encryption and PCI compliance

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Conduct testing and debugging across the full stack

Required Technical Skills:

• Frontend: React.js/Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Responsive Design

• Backend: Node.js/Express, Python/Django, or similar backend framework

• Database: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL with optimization experience

• Payment Integration: Experience with Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, or similar

• API Development: RESTful APIs or GraphQL

• Version Control: Git/GitHub

• Cloud Services: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Security: Authentication, authorization, data protection best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of full stack development experience

• Proven track record of building e-commerce platforms

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Knowledge of SEO optimization and performance tuning

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Understanding of Agile development methodologies

Project Duration: 3-6 months with possibility of ongoing maintenance
