Terraform Engineer Needed for High-Volume Kubernetes Deployment

About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and platform provisioning. We need a Terraform Engineer to design reusable modules that accelerate release cycles and reduce manual steps.

Key responsibilities

• Build and version Terraform code for multi‑account AWS environments
• Integrate Terraform runs into existing CI/CD workflows
• Develop automated testing for infrastructure changes
• Collaborate with developers to embed infrastructure as code into sprint backlog
• Document module usage and best practices for the team

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of Terraform scripting in production
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and networking
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Strong grasp of DevOps principles and automation

Nice to have

• Experience with Terragrunt or CDK
• Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS, ECS)
• Background in monitoring infrastructure drift
