Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Shopify themes and applications
• Collaborate with our design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Work with our project management team to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
• Develop and implement e-commerce solutions that meet clients' requirements and exceed their expectations
• Test and debug applications to ensure they are free from errors and bugs
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify development trends, best practices, and technologies
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and other team members
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for our Shopify applications and themes
• Collaborate with our quality assurance team to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of quality
• Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to ensure efficient project delivery
• Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts to streamline our development process
• Collaborate with our devops team to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of our applications
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of new ideas and solutions

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Shopify development, including themes, applications, and APIs
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, and React
• Experience with NodeJS and Shopify's storefront API
• Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, including payment gateways, shipping, and inventory management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Strong understanding of web development best practices, including security, performance, and accessibility
• Experience with Shopify's theme development, including Liquid, Slate, and Theme Kit
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development
• Experience with automated testing and deployment tools, such as Jenkins or CircleCI
