Senior Microservices Architect Needed for Automated Service Mesh Deployment

About the role

NovaForge Tech is modernizing a high‑traffic legacy production platform. We need a Microservices Architect to design a zero‑downtime migration path, refactor services, and implement resilient deployment pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Define a microservices decomposition strategy aligned with business domains
• Design API contracts and event‑driven communication patterns
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless, zero‑downtime releases
• Guide containerization of existing services using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes
• Collaborate with dev and ops teams to enforce best practices and observability

Must-have skills

• Deep experience architecting microservices at scale
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Java ecosystems
• Strong grasp of zero‑downtime deployment techniques
• Ability to translate legacy monoliths into independent services

Nice to have

• Experience with Istio or service mesh technologies
• Familiarity with cloud‑native monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Background in legacy system migration projects
