About the role

Cascade Apps is revamping a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need a Full Stack Web Developer to design and implement modern components while ensuring zero‑downtime deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor and replace legacy UI modules with React, improving performance and accessibility
• Develop new micro‑services in NodeJS to expose clean APIs for existing workloads
• Implement feature flags and blue‑green releases to meet zero‑downtime goals
• Write automated tests and integrate them into CI pipelines
• Collaborate with DevOps to monitor latency and error rates during rollouts

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Proficient in NodeJS server‑side development
• Hands‑on with MongoDB schema design and optimization
• Understanding of zero‑downtime deployment patterns

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization (Docker)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
