About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Frontend React Developer to tighten the client‑side attack surface while preserving performance and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing React code for XSS, CSP, and other client‑side vulnerabilities.
• Implement secure component patterns, input sanitization, and content security policies.
• Refactor authentication flows to use modern OAuth2 and JWT best practices.
• Collaborate with backend and DevSecOps teams to align front‑end security controls with cloud policies.
• Write unit and integration tests that validate security constraints.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Deep understanding of web security standards (OWASP, CSP, CORS).
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable UI code.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for front‑end deployments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with security testing tools such as Snyk or npm audit.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and edge computing.
• Prior work on security‑focused UI projects.
