Senior AWS Cloud Engineer for Multi-Region Deployment

About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a sprint to accelerate releases through CI/CD and platform automation. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and refine automated pipelines that enable rapid, reliable deployments across our services.

Key responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate using ECS or EKS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for pipeline health.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security and best practices.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (IAM, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Proficient in Docker containerization and image management.
• Solid DevOps mindset with CI/CD tooling expertise.
• Hands‑on Linux administration and scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of GitOps workflows.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus.
