About the role
CoreData Systems is building a unified integration layer called "PulseBridge" to connect its billing platform, CRM, and several internal APIs. As a Python Backend Developer you will design and implement the core services that synchronize data, enforce business rules, and expose stable endpoints for downstream consumers.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop the PulseBridge microservice using FastAPI and async PostgreSQL queries.
- Create secure REST endpoints for billing‑CRM data exchange, handling up to 10,000 requests per minute.
- Implement Docker‑based CI pipelines in GitHub Actions, ensuring reproducible builds and automated testing.
- Write unit and integration tests with PyTest, targeting 85% coverage before each sprint.
- Collaborate with the front‑end team to define OpenAPI contracts and versioning strategy.
- Monitor service health in Grafana, set up alerts for latency spikes, and perform root‑cause analysis.
Must-have skills
- Strong Python (3.9+) experience, especially with FastAPI or Flask.
- Proficient in PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization.
- Hands‑on with Docker containerization and orchestration.
- Building and consuming RESTful APIs, including authentication (OAuth2/JWT).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Nice to have
- Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
