GraphQL API Developer for GraphQL Endpoint Build

About the role

NexGen Media is extending its B2B platform with a multi‑tenant feature set. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design, implement, and optimise GraphQL services that power tenant‑specific data flows while keeping the existing REST backbone intact.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable GraphQL schemas for multi‑tenant isolation
• Integrate GraphQL resolvers with existing NodeJS services and databases
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to expose efficient queries for React apps
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure data security across tenants
• Document API contracts and support onboarding of new tenants

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building GraphQL APIs in production
• Strong NodeJS development background
• Understanding of multi‑tenant architecture and data segregation
• Ability to work with REST APIs alongside GraphQL

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apollo Server or similar tooling
• Experience with React data fetching patterns (hooks, Apollo Client)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
