About the role

Vertex Analytics is building a unified data‑flow platform to streamline billing, CRM, and internal services. We need a Frontend React Developer to craft the user interface for our new "PulseConnect" module, which visualizes real‑time sync status and allows admins to map fields across systems. This short‑term contract focuses on delivering a responsive React dashboard that ties together multiple back‑end APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the PulseConnect UI using React 18, TypeScript, and Material‑UI components.
• Integrate billing, CRM, and internal REST APIs via Axios, handling authentication tokens and error states.
• Build reusable form widgets for mapping data fields, ensuring validation with Yup.
• Set up client‑side state management with Redux Toolkit and implement optimistic UI updates.
• Write unit and integration tests with Jest and React Testing Library to achieve 80% coverage.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and mock endpoints for early UI prototyping.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency in building responsive layouts and component libraries.
• Hands‑on with RESTful API consumption, authentication flows, and error handling.
• Familiarity with state management (Redux Toolkit or Context API).
• Experience writing automated tests for React applications.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GraphQL and Apollo Client.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments.
