Freelance Penetration Tester for Web Application Security Audit

Project Overview: We require an expert, certified Penetration Tester to perform a black-box security audit on our production web application. The goal is to identify and report critical vulnerabilities before our next major release. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive manual and automated penetration testing, focusing on the OWASP Top 10 risks. * Test for common vulnerabilities including SQL Injection, XSS, broken authentication, and security misconfigurations. * Provide a detailed, technical Vulnerability Assessment Report with clear reproduction steps and practical remediation advice. * Collaborate with our development team to ensure swift validation of fixes. Required Skills & Experience: * 5+ years of dedicated cybersecurity and penetration testing experience. * Relevant industry certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, GPEN). * Expert proficiency with tools like Burp Suite Professional, Nmap, and Metasploit. * Proven ability to communicate complex security risks effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
