Key Responsibilities

  • Format and design documents, including reports, proposals, marketing materials, and social media posts, using a range of software tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop and implement document design standards and guidelines.
  • Proofread and edit documents for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors, ensuring that all content is accurate, up-to-date, and consistent.
  • Design and create visual elements, including graphics, charts, and tables, to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our documents.
  • Work with the production team to ensure that all documents are printed and distributed to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's brand guidelines and ensure that all documents adhere to these guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improving the quality and effectiveness of our documents.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Provide training and support to other team members on document design and formatting best practices.
  • Participate in the development of the company's content strategy, ensuring that all documents are aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's style guide, ensuring that all documents are consistent in terms of style, tone, and language.
  • Work with the IT department to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems with document design and formatting software.
  • Participate in quality control and assurance activities, ensuring that all documents meet the company's high standards for quality and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's document management system, ensuring that all documents are properly stored, retrieved, and distributed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in document formatting and design, with a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills and expertise.
  • Proficiency in a range of software tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and document management systems.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with document design and formatting software.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proofread and edit documents for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
