Key Responsibilities

• Create highly detailed and realistic 3D models and textures for various projects, including animated films, video games, and virtual reality experiences.
• Collaborate with our team of artists, designers, and animators to ensure that models meet the required specifications and fit seamlessly into the overall aesthetic of each project.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the project scope, timelines, and budget, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Utilize a range of software and tools, including Maya, 3ds Max, and Substance Painter, to create and texture 3D models.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute to the development of new project ideas and Concepts.
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members, helping to mentor and develop their skills in 3D modeling.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new software, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our 3D modeling capabilities.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the project pipeline, ensuring that all models and textures are optimized for efficient rendering and performance.
• Collaborate with the project management team to prioritize tasks, manage workflows, and ensure that all deadlines are met.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on all models and textures, ensuring that they meet the required standards of quality and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the project style guide, ensuring that all models and textures are consistent with the overall aesthetic and visual identity of the project.
• Utilize version control systems, such as Git, to manage and track changes to models and textures.
• Stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring that all communications are clear, concise, and professional.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in 3D modeling, with a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional skills in creating detailed, realistic models and textures.
• Proficiency in a range of software and tools, including Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of color theory, texture, and lighting, with the ability to create visually stunning and cohesive models and textures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide clear feedback and guidance to colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work that meets the required standards of quality and accuracy.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and a strong understanding of pipeline management and workflow optimization.
• Strong understanding of the project pipeline, with the ability to optimize models and textures for efficient rendering and performance.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly, staying up-to-date with industry trends, new software, and emerging technologies.
